About Saraveri Sanctuary
A place where softness grows, even for people who do hard things.
Who I am
I’m Jessica – a mom, a wife, a gardener, and a health information professional. I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, but I spent parts of every year in lowcountry South Carolina. I used to hate it. But as I got older, I learned to appreciate the quiet — the endless horizon, the stars with no competition, and the simplicity that only the country can provide.
Life has a way of teaching its lessons, and I’ve learned that peace of mind is priceless, time cannot be borrowed, and being present is everything. I feel those lessons most when I’m outside, surrounded by nature. Whether it’s the flutter of a butterfly, the stare of a praying mantis, or the banter of squirrels and birds over seeds, I find joy in pausing and watching things simply be.
My family originated from South Carolina. My grandfather and great‑grandfather were sharecroppers. My grandmother and my aunt were said to be able to grow anything. They may not have had much, but they left a legacy that lives on. It’s no wonder I picked up gardening.
And as life gets faster and louder, I want my girls to understand that there is no time like the present. Life is hard, but you are deserving of softness. So this sanctuary is part healing and part love letter to the people who rarely receive their flowers — including my ancestors. I consider it a privilege to honor them by growing with intention, not out of necessity.
Why I Created Saraveri Sanctuary
Flowers are the foundation. Their ethereal beauty has always been timeless. We use them for all the important moments of our lives - weddings, graduations, and even death. They say to “stop and smell the roses”, but these days, it’s difficult for one to slow down. It seems that there is always something that demands our attention. When we pour out to others and everything else, who is there to give us our flowers?
Saraveri Sanctuary was created to answer that question. Here, flowers aren’t just decoration or a milestone celebrant — they’re a reminder. A reminder to pause. A reminder to breathe. A reminder that you deserve beauty even when life feels heavy. Saraveri Sanctuary isn’t just a farm; it’s a pause button. It’s a place meant to pull you out of the noise of the world and back into your own senses. We want you to feel the weight of a dahlia in your hand, notice the gold of the afternoon sun on the petals, and hear the wind moving through the rows. It’s about rediscovering the quiet joy of simply being present by way of nature.
What We’re Building (Phase 1)
Right now, we’re in our beginning season — defining our brand, searching for land, and shaping the foundation of a flower farm built for reconnection and wonder. Phase 1 is about:
connecting with the land
growing the first blooms
creating spaces for soft events
building a community rooted in care
As the land grows, so will the experiences we offer: butterfly gardens, gentle gatherings, nature‑centered learning, and moments of beauty designed to help people feel peace.
